Tokyo Rikakikai Co., Ltd(EYELA) was founded in 1955 and became a world leader in scientific instrument manufacturing. EYELA has since established supply chain management in Korea, Southeast Asia, China and Jaｐan with two manufacturing facilities in Japan(Miyagi) and China(Shanghai). In the last half century EYELA has outpaced the Japanese growth trend for scientific instruments by offering value added equipment and services to customer.
The word of EYELA implies our mission, "EYE" as in Focus and "LA" as in Laboratory. Our name represents our focus on the end user's needs and the value added products and services to our customers.

"Open eye and create the future"

EYELA ｂegan its business by producing vacuum stirrers. Rotary Evaporators have quickly earned respect in Japan and throughout all of Asia through the equipment's durability and instrument features. The EYELA brand name has been established through the success of our rotary evaporators. Expanding to 600 product segments now produced, almost all the needs of the general laboratory benefit from EYELA products.
EYELA has focussed on expanding its customer base into biotechnology including molecular and biomolecular technologies. R&D capacities have been enhanced to meet the rigorous requirements of market standards and its changing requirements. EYELA has an 8,000m2(89,000 sq. ft.) state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with R&D in the Miyagi prefecture in northern Japan.

In 1994 EYELA obtained ISO9001 certification ahead of other Japanese general laboratory instrument suppliers.
In 2003 EYELA opened its 2,300m2(25,000 sq. ft.) production facility in Shanghai China. This factory is similar to the Miyagi plant where quality is priority #1. The Shanghai factory can be customized or adapted to complement the dynamic production needs within EYELA's manufacturing schedule requirements. Currently, Shanghai is producing 40 product segments including rotary evaporators, incubators and constant temperature ovens. Both the Miyagi and the Shanghai production facilities follow our company philosophy of producing high quality instruments at competitive prices.

EYELA the first company to market Chinese manufactured scientific laboratory products into the Japanese market. Also in 2004, EYELA opened their Singapore office to offer strengthened customer service to Asian and Middle East customers.

In 2005 EYELA opend it's first US based office located in Irvine California and is now offering its wide range of scientific instruments to the US customer base.
IN 2007 US office was moved to Sunnyvale CA to better serve our clients.
